Localidad: Chile, Región II (Antofagasta), El Loa, Ruta B-385, to the W of turnoff to Tilopozo. South of the road that connects Peine and the road B-241 (TGRC locality 1987).
Observaciones: Growing at the edges of a rocky and steep quebrada, vegetation sparse and dominated by xerophytic shrubs; c. 20 plants, many older plants suffering from drought.
