Localidad: Chile, Región II (Antofagasta), El Loa, Ruta B-355, km 207, the middle of a small quebrada near the road (c. 18.6 km from Peine)

Observaciones: Population growing on right side of the road, in sheltered rock areas, in dried-up river beds (quebrada); surrounding vegetation super sparse, composed predominantly of xerophytic shrubs, includ large Loasaceae shrubs (EG339) and rica rica (Acantholippia tarapacana); 10-15 plants observed.
