Localidad: Chile, Región XV (Arica y Parinacota), Parinacota, Ruta A-31, from Zapahuira to Belen, collected just before arriving to the hydroelectricity station (Reten de Chaquipina), upper part of the Azapa valley.

Observaciones: Growing in sandy, rocky soil along the roadside, along a slope; surrounding vegetation consisting of cacti, and many xerophytic shrubs (some from Asteraceae family); Calceoleria sp. also present.
