Localidad: Chile, Región XV (Arica y Parinacota), Parinacota, Ruta 11, road going from Zapahuira to Putre, in the vicinity of the Mirador of Socorama (13.7 km from junction with A-31).

Observaciones: Growing out of sandy, rocky soil along the roadside; landscape is composed of pre-cordillera vegetation, dominated by grasses, cacti, and a variety of xerophytic shrubs, including species of Senna and different Asteraceae species. Relatively common along the roadside.
