Localidad: Chile, Región XV (Arica y Parinacota), Arica, Ruta 11, midway up the valley, driving from the Junction with A-191, towards Zapahuira (Quebrada Cardones); about 19 km before arriving to Zapahuira (junction A-31).

Observaciones: Growing in rocky, sand soil along the roadside; vegetation around is barely non-existent, save for the occasional xerophytic shrub or cacti; Solanum lycopersicoides also growing nearby; 20-30 plants in the population.
